Payment Gateway Based Fees and Discounts for WooCommerce Pro lets a WooCommerce store set a fee or discount according to the payment method selected at checkout. Set amounts and limits for each rule
Choose a fixed amount or a percentage-based fee or discount. Minimum and maximum adjustment values can limit the amount, while a cart-total range can determine when a rule applies. Multiple gateway fees can be combined into one checkout line, and a maximum total fee or discount can cap the adjustment for an order.
Use Pro conditions to select eligible orders
The Pro version includes rules for individual products, customer countries and states, product categories, and shipping methods. Card-based fees can depend on the card's issuing country, bank, or network. Additional fee calculation options provide more control when payment costs vary by card type or processing arrangement.
For example, a store can add a handling fee to Cash on Delivery orders, discount Direct Bank Transfer, or set an adjustment for selected gateways. The conditions let the store account for which products are ordered, the customer's location, the shipping method, or card details.
Make payment adjustments visible
Set the label clients see for a fee or discount. Fee information can be hidden on the Cart page or displayed on product pages so customers can review payment-method pricing earlier. Other options let the store apply taxes to gateway fees, round calculated amounts, and include or exclude shipping charges when calculating fees.
Configure the gateway rule
In the WooCommerce settings, choose a payment method and set a fixed or percentage adjustment. Add the relevant amount limits and Pro conditions, then review the adjustment and its label on product, Cart, and checkout pages.
