Choose a schedule that fits the deadline
Recurring timers reset at an interval you select: every minute, hour, day, week, or month. For dates that do not follow a regular cadence, enter a list of specific deadlines. The timer moves through them in order, and each deadline can have its own headline. After the last deadline expires, the configured expiry actions execute.
One-time timers count down to a shared deadline. Evergreen timers give each visitor a personal countdown, tracked by cookie or IP. For evergreen timers, you can set a waiting period before a countdown restarts for the same visitor, or have it end at a specific time of day in that visitor’s local timezone, such as midnight. Fixed-date and recurring timers can use a selected timezone instead of the server timezone.
Set what happens when time runs out
Expiry actions can conceal the timer, show a custom message, or redirect users to a URL. Pro allows multiple actions on the same timer, such as hiding the countdown and showing a message. On WooCommerce product pages, a timer can hide the Add to Cart button at expiry. You can also set a timer to deactivate specific WooCommerce coupon codes.
A sticky countdown bar can stay at the top or bottom of the screen and appear across all pages or only on selected pages.
Adjust the timer’s appearance
Edit labels, colors, spacing, and other presentation options, then add custom CSS for more specific changes. Pro includes seasonal event themes, along with Circle Progress and Flip Clock styles. The extension also works with Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, WPBakery, and Gutenberg.
Add a timer to a page or product
In WordPress, go to HurryTimer > Add New Timer, choose a timer type, configure its schedule and expiry behavior, then publish it. Copy the shortcode into a post, page, or text widget. To display a countdown on a WooCommerce product page, use the WooCommerce tab to integrate it with the product. Pro includes priority support by email or chat for help with setup and available features.
