Web-Stat Premium: How visitor activity appears in reports

Web-Stat connects WordPress to hosted visitor analytics. Installing and activating the add-on sets up an account and starts tracking. Open reports from the WordPress admin menu or through the Web-Stat site. Tracking is invisible to visitors by default; you can enable a visitor counter in the settings.

What the reports display

Review live visits, entrance pages, referrers, traffic sources, returning visitors, device details and approximate locations. Other available statistics include connection time and, when the optional feature is enabled, signed-in visitors' names, email addresses and photos.

Page views per month describe a plan's tracking capacity. Report history indicates how far back you can review activity. On the free plan, you get up to 5,000 page views per month, the latest 50 visits and one month of report history. If the monthly limit is reached, tracking pauses until the next month or until capacity is increased.

Plan capacity and reporting

  • Basic: Up to 10,000 page views per month and six months of report history. $4.95 per month or $49.50 per year.
  • Plus: Up to 100,000 page views per month and 12 months of history. Includes navigation and click-path reports, time-on-site and bounce rates. $9.95 per month or $99.50 per year.
  • Pro: Up to 300,000 page views per month and 24 months of history. Adds conversions, custom events and downtime monitoring, with alerts by email and SMS. $19.95 per month or $199.50 per year.
  • Max: Up to 500,000 page views per month and 60 months of report history. $49.95 per month or $499.50 per year.

Prices are in USD. Plan features and limits vary.

Tracking data and privacy

The tracking code sends visit information, including page URLs, referrers, IP addresses and browser or device details, to Web-Stat. Analytics are processed on Web-Stat's servers rather than stored solely in the WordPress database. Location is estimated from IP addresses. Optional features can collect information about signed-in users when enabled. Site owners should describe their analytics use in their privacy notice and configure tracking for their visitors as appropriate.

Install and access reports

In WordPress, open Plugins > Add New, search for Web-Stat, then install and activate it. Tracking starts after setup. Use the Web-Stat option in the WordPress admin menu to view reports and adjust account or tracking settings. You can also access reports through the Web-Stat website.
