Squirrly SEO PRO Plan for WordPress Search and AI Discovery
Squirrly SEO PRO Plan brings classic SEO, answer-engine optimization (AEO), and generative-engine optimization (GEO) tools into WordPress. It helps website owners and content teams review pages, manage technical settings, and monitor search visibility. Audits guide content improvements; they cannot guarantee rankings or AI citations.
SEO and AI search workflows
Squirrly SEO PRO Plan brings classic SEO, answer-engine optimization (AEO), and generative-engine optimization (GEO) tools into WordPress. It helps website owners and content teams review pages, manage technical settings, and monitor search visibility. Audits guide content improvements; they cannot guarantee rankings or AI citations.
Page guidance
The GEO/AEO Audit reviews answer-ready signals such as a clear response near the beginning, question-style headings, lists and tables, content depth, freshness, structured data, and AI crawler access. Focus Pages show reasons a page may not rank and suggest areas to address. AI Keyword Research analyzes competition and search intent, while Live Assistant includes in-editor guidance in Gutenberg, Elementor, Divi, and other builders. SEO Goals organize next steps, and Inner Links and Link Opportunities help connect relevant pages.
Technical settings and discovery
Manage XML sitemaps, canonical links, meta robots directives, Open Graph and Twitter/X cards, redirects, and favicons. Structured-data tools support formats such as Article, Organization, and Q&A; use markup that accurately describes each page. AI crawler controls let you set robots rules for GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, and other bots. The plugin can generate, edit, upload, and serve llms.txt and llms-full.txt. These documents can help systems that use them find site content, but they do not improve Google visibility by themselves.
LLM Indexing submits new and updated URLs through IndexNow and the Google Indexing API. Google's Indexing API is limited to JobPosting pages and pages with BroadcastEvent inside VideoObject markup; it is not a general-purpose indexing service. A submission requests discovery and does not confirm that a page has been indexed.
Monitoring and setup
SERP and rank tracking, traffic and authority monitoring, backlink audits, and competitor analysis help you follow visibility as you work through page recommendations. Connect the plugin to a Squirrly account by email to use cloud tools such as audits, keyword research, and rank tracking.
The plugin requires WordPress 5.3 or newer and PHP 7.0 or newer. Connecting Claude, ChatGPT, OpenAI Codex, or another MCP client requires WordPress 6.9 or newer, PHP 7.4 or newer, and HTTPS. The assistant uses the connected WordPress user's permissions, cannot delete site data, and cannot access Squirrly account API keys. The assistant connection is optional; the other SEO, AEO, and GEO capabilities do not depend on it.
