Set event and audience rules
Custom Events describe site behavior in more detail when a Standard Event does not fit. Dynamic Events can trigger after a chosen time on the site or when a user clicks a selected button or link. A time delay can hold an event until a visitor has stayed for the selected interval, excluding quicker exits from that tracking activity.
Build Custom Audiences from pages, posts, categories, and tags visitors view, as well as links and buttons they use. These conditions group visitors according to their site activity.
Add context to event data
Event parameters can include the HTTP referrer, post categories, post tags, and Google Analytics UTM tags. For supported conversion events, parameters can also include price and currency, so the event carries the amount and currency associated with that action.
Track commerce activity
WooCommerce event tracking and a WooCommerce Product Feed support Dynamic Product Ads and Custom Audiences based on product activity. Easy Digital Downloads integration offers one-click Facebook Pixel setup, event tracking, and a product feed for retargeting and sales-related activity.
Configure Pixel Cat in WordPress
Install Pixel Cat Premium on the site where you want to manage tracking. In the WordPress admin, open Pixel Cat settings and add the relevant pixel ID or analytics details. Use the event builder to choose Standard, Custom, or Dynamic Events, then set their behavior, audience conditions, and parameters. Configure the WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads integration for a store.
An option can conceal Facebook Pixel tracking from logged-in customers, including selected WordPress user levels such as administrators, editors, and contributors. This keeps team activity out of the advertising data collected through that tracking setup.
