Page caching and exclusions
You can preload pages, set a cache lifespan, and clear cached pages when posts are created or updated. Exclusion rules let you keep selected pages, user agents, cookies, CSS, or JavaScript out of the cache. Mobile caching is also available for websites that need a separate mobile version.
Images, CSS, and JavaScript
- Optimize images by converting them to formats such as WebP. Lazy loading defers selected resources until they enter the viewport. Other image tools can add missing dimensions, preload above-the-fold images, and delay rendering of off-screen HTML components.
- Minify HTML and JavaScript, and use CSS and JavaScript minification and combining to reduce file sizes and requests. Critical CSS extracts styles used in the visible viewport; Unused CSS removes styles that are not used on the page.
- Delay JavaScript until user interaction, combine footer scripts with Advanced Combine JS, or defer render-blocking scripts. Instant Page loads a linked page just before a visitor clicks its link.
Fonts and asset delivery
SpeedyCache Pro can load Google Fonts asynchronously and cache them locally. Display Swap keeps text visible while fonts load. CDN support routes selected static content through a distributed network. Other delivery controls include GZIP compression, browser caching, DNS prefetch, and preconnect.
You can also disable WordPress emoji styles and scripts, cache Gravatars on your server, and add a text-rendering property that prioritizes font-rendering speed. If your website uses Varnish, SpeedyCache can purge its cache when the SpeedyCache cache is purged.
Database and object cache tools
Database cleanup can remove revisions, trashed content, spam and trashed comments, trackbacks, pingbacks, and expired transient options. Object Cache uses Redis to persist objects. Bloat Remover includes controls for selected WordPress and WooCommerce functions, including XML-RPC, Heartbeat, embeds, and cart fragments.
WordPress Abilities API
For compatible AI clients and MCP adapters, SpeedyCache exposes settings, cache actions, statistics, and preload controls through the WordPress Abilities API. Pro abilities also cover database optimization, image optimization, Redis object cache, cache logs, and bloat settings.
Installation
Install the free SpeedyCache plugin on your WordPress site before adding SpeedyCache Pro. Configure cache behavior and exclusions first, then enable image, font, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript options as needed. Professional support is available for Pro capabilities.
