- Team Access assigns users to a team and limits their access to data related to that team.
- Team Colors displays each team's colors on its profile page.
- League Menu adds a global navigation bar for moving between teams.
- Twitter adds a feed to team, player, and staff pages.
- Branding changes the administration panel to reflect the organization's brand.
- Duplicator clones entries with one click, which can help when creating multiple events.
Schedules, results, and season records
Create events for fixtures and results, publish event calendars, and maintain club profiles with player lists. SportsPress also includes player lists and profiles with statistics, staff profiles, season archives, venue information and maps, event details with player performance, and an equation builder for points systems. Automated standings can display club logos.
Choose club-versus-club or player-versus-player mode, then configure statistics and league table columns in SportsPress settings. Sport presets populate relevant settings and sample data for options such as American football, association football, Australian rules football, baseball, basketball, cricket, darts, golf, handball, ice hockey, lacrosse, netball, rugby, tennis, volleyball, and esports.
Imports and publishing options
Import events, clubs, players, and staff from CSV files. Add shortcodes through the editor menu, integrate events with iCal, and use the plugin with certified WPML compatibility. SportsPress is described as working with any theme, though styling may be needed to match a website's styling.
A club can publish fixtures, venues, rosters, results, and player statistics. A league can maintain standings, club profiles, event calendars, and season archives. Tournament organizers can display bracket or knockout competitions alongside their other SportsPress records.
Setup and activation
In WordPress, configure a sport preset, then add clubs, players, staff, venues, events, statistics, and table columns. Enter records in the administration area or use the available CSV importers for events, clubs, players, and staff. Once the base setup is ready, activate SportsPress Pro to access its dashboard modules, including Tournaments, and add the competition details you want to display. The Pro version can be activated without losing existing SportsPress data.
