Controls for Contact Form 7 Pro
Controls for Contact Form 7 Pro adds a Controls tab to each Contact Form 7 form in the WordPress administration area. Use it to set a redirect URL, configure tracking, adjust form behavior, and select submission storage. Some options apply at page level, so a change to one form may affect every Contact Form 7 form displayed on that page.
Configure form controls
Controls for Contact Form 7 Pro adds a Controls tab to each Contact Form 7 form in the WordPress administration area. Use it to set a redirect URL, configure tracking, adjust form behavior, and select submission storage. Some options apply at page level, so a change to one form may affect every Contact Form 7 form displayed on that page.
Track form events
Available analytics integrations include Google Analytics 4, Google Tag using gtag.js, Google Tag Manager, Matomo (formerly Piwik), and Facebook Pixel. Events use the category Contact Form and can identify the action as Submit, Sent, Error, or Spam. The form title is included as the event title.
For Facebook Pixel, the addon uses the standard Contact event. The event type is sent as content_category, and the form title as content_name.
Redirect visitors and change form behavior
Set a URL for visitors to reach after submitting a form. Other controls let you disable AJAX submissions, remove the default form CSS, or turn off automatic paragraph formatting. You can also enable native WordPress shortcodes in form content, disable HTML5 input field types or enable the HTML5 input type fallback, and specify a Google reCAPTCHA language.
Choose where submissions are stored
Use Storage for Contact Form 7 to save submissions, including attachments, in the WordPress database and export entries as CSV. Alternatively, the basic TablePress integration lets you choose a table for submissions. The addon adds missing columns for form fields and appends each entry as a row, along with the submission time in ISO 8601 format and the URL where the form was submitted.
Install and configure
- Install the addon alongside Contact Form 7.
- Open a form in the WordPress administration area and choose its Controls tab.
- Configure redirects, tracking, or form behavior for that form.
- To store submissions, set up Storage for Contact Form 7 or select a TablePress table.
Features related to submission tracking and redirects require Contact Form 7 version 4.3 or later. Check page-level effects before changing a setting that may apply to all forms on the same page.
