Spotlight Essentials expands the Instagram feed tools available in Spotlight for WordPress. It includes the free version, all templates and layouts, every customization option, Instagram Stories, and a dedicated Elementor widget.

Design and display feeds

Choose a template or create a custom layout. Adjust columns, post count, image ratio, spacing, and post order; feeds can be sorted by date or popularity, or shown in random order. Feeds inherit your theme’s fonts and can have separate settings for desktop, tablet, and phone.

Display photos, videos, reels, and carousel posts. The lightbox opens larger photos and plays videos and reels while users stay on your site. Feed headers can display an account avatar and bio. You can also customize and translate the Follow and Load more button text. Feed pictures receive alt text based on their Instagram captions.

Connect accounts and add a feed

Connect one or more Instagram Business or Creator accounts. Combine posts from multiple accounts in a feed, reuse a feed in different places, or configure separate feeds for different pages. For client websites, agencies and developers can use the Spotlight Access Token Generator so clients can provide access without sharing private login details.

1. Install and activate Spotlight in WordPress.
2. Choose a feed design or create a custom layout.
3. Connect an Instagram account.
4. Set the layout, post order, device settings, and other options available with your plan.
5. Add the feed with a WordPress block, shortcode, widget, or the dedicated Elementor widget included in Essentials.

Spotlight updates feeds as new Instagram posts are published. Documentation, free forum support, and premium and pre-sales email support are listed as support options.
