Collect files across a form
MultiLine Files for Contact Form 7 Pro is the paid edition for forms that need flexible file collection. Add multiple upload fields to one Contact Form 7 form, then set minimum and maximum file counts and select where the selected-file list appears. Visitors can preview their selections and remove files individually before submitting, including files they selected together.
Collect files, images, videos, or other permitted file types for document submissions, portfolios, job applications, support tickets, or content submissions.
From file selection to email
After submission, the add-on automatically compresses uploaded files into one ZIP file for email delivery. Uploads are handled locally on your server and stored temporarily during form submission. The plugin does not send files to third-party services, and temporary files are cleaned up after processing.
Add fields and configure restrictions
Install MultiLine Files for Contact Form 7 Pro alongside Contact Form 7. In the form editor, use the available button to insert a multiline file field, or add the [multilinefile] tag where the field should appear. Give the field a name so you can reference its uploads in the form’s Mail settings.
For a required upload field, use [multilinefile*]. The plugin also works with file type validation with the filetypes attribute and a maximum file size in bytes with the limit attribute. Configure these restrictions and the Pro file-count limits for your form.
To include uploads in an email, put the corresponding field name in Contact Form 7’s File Attachments field.
Styling and support
Custom CSS in your theme can style the upload button, delete icon, and selected file names. A child theme is recommended for custom styles. The interface is responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile displays. The Pro edition also includes faster response times and dedicated support.
