Facebook Page content in WordPress

Custom Facebook Feed Pro displays Facebook Page posts on WordPress pages, posts, and widgets. Its Pro capabilities add photos, videos, likes, shares, reactions, and comments alongside post text and links.

Feeds come from publicly accessible Facebook Pages that the connected account administers. Personal profile posts are generally restricted, and Facebook group feeds are no longer supported.

Feed layout and placement

Choose from multiple layouts, set how many posts to display, and adjust colors, font sizes, and font styles. You can show or hide parts of posts and set a maximum text length. Responsive layouts are designed to fit different screen sizes and container widths.

Add feeds to posts or widgets with a shortcode or block. Elementor and Divi include a Custom Facebook Feed element. Feed content is rendered directly on the page and can be crawled by search engines, unlike content placed in an iframe.

Post filters and feed controls

Filter Facebook posts by type, hashtag, or text string to focus a feed on a topic or campaign. The plugin also supports loading more posts into a feed. Built-in caching lets you set how long the feed waits before checking for updates.

Connection and related capabilities

After installing the plugin, open the Facebook Feed options and use the login button to connect and authorize an account. The described setup does not require a Facebook Developer App. Save the settings, then add a feed with a shortcode or block and adjust its display in the customization settings.

The plugin supports Facebook oEmbeds and includes a visual header that can show a Facebook Page or cover photo, profile picture, bio, and like count. The official Facebook Like Box widget can appear above or below a feed. A one-click GDPR setting and integrations with many popular GDPR cookie consent add-ons are also included.
