Set up the table and add content
In Table Builder > Add New, select the number of rows and columns, then click Generate. Drag elements from the left panel into individual cells. Each element has its own customization settings.
The seven available elements are:
- Text for written table content.
- Image for visual content.
- List for grouped points or functions.
- Button for button content within a cell.
- Star Rating for rating displays.
- Custom HTML for HTML-based content.
- Shortcode for inserting shortcode content.
Adjust rows, columns, and cells
Cell management mode lets you add rows or columns, merge cells, and split cells. Make these changes as you edit to refine the table structure after generating it.
Embed tables and exchange documents
Save the finished table, then embed it in a post or page with its shortcode. Find the shortcode in the builder's Embed option or in the All Tables list under the Table Builder menu.
Import tables from CSV or XML files, either one file at a time or multiple files packaged in a ZIP archive. You can also import tables created with TablePress. Export tables as CSV or XML. For moving a table to another site, XML preserves its table options.
Install the plugin
PHP 5.6 or higher is required. In the WordPress plugin page, select Add New, choose the plugin ZIP file from your computer, and upload it. Activate the plugin from the Plugins menu. The Table Builder menu is then available for creating and managing tables.
