Route orders by payment method
Set default statuses for payment methods, including default and third-party methods. This determines an order's starting status based on its payment method. You can then use custom statuses for later steps in your process, such as review, preparation, dispatch, or collection.
Keep staff and clients informed
Enable email notifications for customers or administrators. The order list status column gives staff a quick view of progress. For example, a made-to-order store might track production, quality checks, and dispatch, while a service business might use received, scheduled, in progress, and completed.
Automate later steps and track their effects
Premium supports automatic transitions between custom statuses based on time intervals. It can also display order information in WooCommerce Reports and increase or decrease stock levels according to order status changes.
Create a status and enable its email
After installing and activating the plugin, go to WooCommerce > Order Status and select Add New. Enter the status title, provide a unique slug, and publish it. Then configure its label, icon, or text color as needed.
To enable an email template for a custom status, go to WooCommerce > Settings > Email. Select the template for that status, enable it, and save your changes. Configure payment-method defaults, notifications, timed transitions, reporting, and stock behavior to fit your order process.
