Custom Payment Gateway for WooCommerce Pro lets a store configure custom checkout payment options for clients who need another way to pay. Customers can submit an order and leave a note describing a payment option they can use. Pro adds controls for collecting information and setting up the gateway workflow.

Build a form for checkout

Use the drag-and-drop form builder to choose the information a gateway form collects. Available fields include:

• Text, text box, checkbox, radio buttons, and select menu.
• Email, date, time, URL, currency, number, and phone number.
• Credit card form and instructions.

Field options include the name, label, size, default value, CSS class or classes, and other available options.

Set gateway presentation and order handling

Create an unlimited number of custom gateways and assign an icon to distinguish an option on the Checkout page. Choose the order status applied after checkout to orders using a custom gateway.

Add a gateway description for customers to see at checkout and a note with further instructions to display after checkout. Submitted payment information can also be added to the order's emails.

Send payment information to an API

After checkout, the plugin can send payment information to an external API for processing or storage. Configure a custom customer redirect URL, choose POST or GET, and send request data as form data or JSON. You can add parameters such as API keys and map parameters to WooCommerce data, including order ID, order total, customer first and last name, postcode, city, state, country, email, phone, and IP address.

Configure and test the checkout flow

After installing the plugin in WooCommerce, make or configure a custom gateway, add its customer-facing description and note, then build the form fields. Set the icon, order status, email option, redirect, or API request settings as needed. Enable Debugging Mode while testing. The gateway is activated only for you while this mode is enabled, so you can review its settings and the checkout page.
