Choose how comments load
Comments can load normally, on scroll, when scrolling starts, or after a user clicks. Pro adds the scroll-start option and provides separate loading options for mobile and desktop. You can also prevent automatic loading, use a custom comment button class, and control comment counts independently.
Place comments on posts and product pages
Use the [js-disqus] shortcode to place comments at a chosen point in a post or page. Custom post types are supported, and the Disqus container width can be adjusted. Pro supports WooCommerce without breaking the review tab, as well as Easy Digital Downloads.
Configure buttons, widgets, and scripts
Show a comment count on a button and choose from built-in button styles. The available widgets include Disqus Comments and Disqus Popular Comments. You can disable the count.js script when it is not needed or remove Disqus scripts from selected custom post types.
Manage comments and discussion capabilities
The plugin supports importing existing comments and auto-syncing comments between Disqus and the WordPress database. Related Disqus features include threaded comments and replies, notifications and reply by email, subscribe and RSS options, aggregated comments and social mentions, moderation utilities, spam filtering, blacklists, whitelists, and community widgets.
Set up Disqus Conditional Load Pro
Install Disqus Conditional Load in WordPress, then install the Pro version. Connect the site with Disqus and select its forum shortname. In the plugin settings, choose the loading method and device options, configure buttons or widgets, and add the shortcode wherever comments should appear. Pro visitors can request priority support over email.
