Country, state, and city fields that work together

Country State City dynamic dropdown PRO adds linked location fields to WordPress forms. The country selection determines the available states, and the state selection determines the cities. The add-on is an add-on for Contact Form 7 and also works with WPForms, Ninja Forms, Divi Contact Module, Elementor Module, and custom PHP forms. Use the fields to collect locations for enquiries, registrations, delivery details, or other submissions.

Set country choices and handle missing locations

Set a default country using the visitor’s IP, select one country from the full list, or limit the dropdown to one or more selected countries. State and city lists then follow the visitor’s selections. When a state or city is unavailable, the plugin can show an input for the visitor to enter it. Administrators can also add missing states and cities manually.

• Add multiple country, state, and city field sets to one form, with group settings to keep each set together.
• Use country and state fields without a city field when city details are not needed.
• Configure cities to include only those associated with the selected country.

For example, a form that collects billing and shipping locations can assign a different group to each set of fields.

With Contact Form 7 active, use the tag generator or add the supported country drop-down, state dropdown, and city dropdown tags to a form. Configure placeholders or group options as needed, then save the form. The state and city options follow the selections made earlier in the location set.

Install and configure

1. Install and activate the plugin on the WordPress site.
2. Choose the form integration and configure the available country options.
3. Add the country, state, and city fields to the form.
4. Set placeholders, groups, or manual location entries as needed.
5. Save the form and test the country-to-state-to-city selection flow.
