Responsive scrolling messages

Marquee Running Text Pro adds scrolling text displays to WordPress websites. Use marquees for announcements, notices, promotions, linked updates, or other short messages. Create unlimited displays for different pages or site areas, with multiple text entries and individual links in each marquee.

Header and shortcode placement

Choose whether to show a marquee at the top of the site header. For other locations, use the [mrtext] shortcode wherever shortcodes are supported. The plugin works with popular page builders without extra configuration.

• Posts and pages: Add the shortcode with the editor’s Shortcode block, or type it directly where supported.
• Widgets: Place it in a Shortcode widget.
• Theme documents: Add it to a PHP file in the theme.

Text and visual settings

Configure each marquee for its intended location. Pro styling settings include custom font choices, background colors, animation styles, and other advanced controls. Color settings let you adjust text and backgrounds to suit the site’s design.

Setup and support

Standard use requires no coding: add the add-on, configure the marquee content and styling, then select the header show or insert [mrtext] in the relevant location. The product description characterizes its code as lightweight and optimized for scrolling. Pro includes priority support and regular updates with enhancements and features.
