Chaty Pro is a WordPress add-on for displaying messaging and contact options in a floating widget. Visitors can select a channel they already use, including WhatsApp, WhatsApp Business, Facebook Messenger, Viber, Slack, Telegram, Instagram Direct Messenger, TikTok and Line Messenger. Other options include phone calls, email, SMS, Google Maps and Waze.

WhatsApp popups and chat agents

Visitors can use WhatsApp as a regular button or open a popup styled like a WhatsApp chat window. They start a message on the site, then continue the conversation in WhatsApp. The chat view supports merge tags for page titles, URLs and WooCommerce details such as product names, prices and descriptions, so popup text can reflect the page or product being viewed. You can also set a default WhatsApp message or email subject line.

Chat agents let you add multiple contacts to one channel, such as separate WhatsApp contacts for sales and support. Agents are supported for WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and more than 20 other chat channels.

Widget targeting and schedules

Configure various widgets for specific pages, categories, products or URLs. Pro targeting options include traffic source and country rules, available days and hours, and date scheduling. Separate widget designs can be used for mobile and desktop, and WPML support can help configure widgets for multilingual sites.

Other controls include custom CSS, widget duplication, Google Analytics support, Font Awesome icons, screen blur while the icons are open, and an option to change the page title to draw attention to the chat buttons.

Forms and live chat connections

A contact form can collect user details and send leads by email. It can also integrate with Mailchimp or Klaviyo and use Google reCAPTCHA. Alongside messaging and contact actions, JavaScript can launch supported live chat applications such as Chatway, Tawk.to, Tidio, Chatra, Zoho, Zendesk, LiveChat, Crisp, Intercom, JivoChat and Olark.

Add Chaty Pro to a WordPress site and make a widget. Select the channels to display, enter the relevant contact details, then configure targeting, schedules, popup text and integrations before saving the widget options.
