Connect WordPress content to map capabilities

Use the Mapster ACF field to add data to custom post types and place that data on maps. The add-on works with points, labels, text, markers, circles, lines, Bezier curves, and polygons, with custom styling, popups, and click or hover interactions.

Choose a map base to set its appearance

Choose MapLibre, Mapbox, or Google Maps, or use a custom map style or image as the map base. Mapster WP Maps Pro adds 16 styles, bringing the available total to 36, and supports scalable SVGs as custom map pictures. Maps can show a 3D globe, include 3D buildings, and use a selected language.

Set boundaries and breakpoints to shape map show

Restrict map movement to specific boundaries and define map sizes for different screen widths with mobile breakpoints. Customize the loading graphic and configure advanced clustering, including cluster size, color, and other options. Clusters can use images in place of the standard cluster display.

Configure controls to change visitor interaction

For maps using Mapbox or MapLibre style JSONs, add a style switcher so users can change styles. A layer switcher can turn layers from a Mapbox style on or off. Cooperative gestures help avoid accidental map scrolling, and a custom HTML control can add map interactivity. Manually order controls to arrange them on the map.

Geolocation options include high-accuracy location, user heading, movement tracking, and an accuracy circle. IP geolocation can locate visitors using their IP address.

Print the map or download its geographic features

The print control lets visitors download an image of the map. The download control lets them download all geographic features from the map.

Move from map setup to placement

Add Mapster WP Maps Pro to a WordPress website and open the map editor. Create or edit a map, pick its provider and style, add geographic features manually or by import, configure controls, then place the map with a shortcode or block integration. Imports support GeoJSON, KML, GPX, and Shapefiles; metadata is retained in custom fields during import.

The plugin also supports custom permalinks, map-event hooks, custom scripts, and shortcode output by feature IDs.
