SKU Generator for WooCommerce Pro helps manage SKUs for new and existing products. Set a format and generation method for new products, then select which products in the current catalog should receive regenerated SKUs.

Define formats for new products

Automatic SKU generation can use a prefix, suffix, number length, category, and tag. Choose sequential or random generation for SKU values. The Pro edition also includes additional format options for variable products.

Choose which existing products to update

Regenerate SKUs across all existing products or limit regeneration to products that do not already have an SKU. The missing-only option leaves existing SKU values in place on products that already have one.

Use SKUs in the storefront and emails

Add product search by SKU on the frontend for clients or store visitors, include SKU information in customer emails, and allow duplicate SKU values across products.

Review options before generating

Install the plugin on your WordPress website and review its available options. Set the format and generation method for new products, then decide whether to regenerate existing SKUs across the catalog or only for products without one. Consider whether frontend SKU search, SKU details in customer emails, and duplicate SKU support fit your store's workflow.
