Extend WordPress appointment scheduling
Appointment Booking PRO is the paid upgrade for the MotoPress Appointment Booking add-on. The booking system organizes services, categories, locations, and staff for appointments, classes, consultations, and other scheduled activities. Service businesses such as salons, teachers, therapists, fitness providers, consultants, and law firms can let clients book online.
Clients use a responsive, step-by-step form to select a service, date, available time, and party size for an individual or group booking. Businesses can set staff schedules and availability, use calendars for individual services, and manage appointments in monthly, weekly, or daily views.
Supported payment gateways
PRO includes Direct Bank Transfer and PayPal, along with Stripe methods including Bancontact, iDEAL, Giropay, SEPA Direct Debit, SOFORT, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. These options extend the pay-on-site method in the base plugin. Booking management also supports cash payments, and administrators can edit booking information and payment details.
Employee Google Calendar sync
Website bookings can sync to employees’ Google Calendars, where staff can view the appointments.
Customer entry and email notifications
Administrators can register new clients manually through the site’s backend, such as when a reservation arrives outside the public booking form. PRO also enables more recipients for email notifications.
The broader notification system supports automated, customizable emails for staff and clients, including confirmations, cancellations, reminders, custom event-driven messages, and notices about upcoming bookings. Staff can also use client notes, booking comments, booking history, and booking statuses to maintain appointment records.
Set up the booking process
Install and activate the MotoPress Appointment Booking plugin in WordPress. The setup wizard then helps create a booking form. Set up services, locations, staff, capacities, and availability, then publish the form or a calendar for an individual service. Clients select an available date and time, enter the requested details, and submit a booking. Staff can approve or deny bookings automatically or manually, reschedule appointments, edit customer details, and process client-initiated cancellations.
After upgrading to PRO, configure the additional payment gateways, connect employee Google Calendars, register customers through the backend as needed, and add the required notification recipients.
