Cost updates for products and stock receipts
Product bulk and quick edit utilities include cost fields, so you can update costs without opening each product. They also include stock and cost fields for adding stock. A product page meta box can calculate stock and cost for each stock receipt, with a history of stock and cost snapshots to review. Other options replace commas with dots when updating cost metadata and let cost update hooks trigger cost changes.
Import or export product costs in CSV files with the standard WooCommerce Import and Export tools. A separate import tool can bring costs in from other product metadata.
Order expenses by order, shipping class, and currency
Set additional costs across all orders or individually for each order. You can also add costs based on product shipping classes, using fixed calculations per product or per shipping class.
For stores that use multiple currencies, custom exchange rates convert order cost and profit to the shop's base currency. Additional costs can be applied based on the order currency.
Order recalculation and profit notifications
Recalculate cost and profit for all orders, only orders without costs, or orders within a selected time frame. This can update stored order figures after product costs or calculation options change. A warning can appear on the admin order edit page when profit is below zero, and order cost and profit can be included in the admin new order email.
Cost and profit in WooCommerce Analytics
In Analytics > Orders, Pro adds cost and profit to report charts. Stock reports gain cost, profit, and category columns. Revenue reports include cost and profit data with charts, so these figures can be reviewed alongside the shop's existing reports.
