Really Simple Featured Video PRO adds featured video support for WordPress posts, pages, custom post types, and WooCommerce products. Add a video from an embed or a file on your site, then show it where your theme uses featured images or place it in a block, shortcode, or supported builder.

Use an existing video or create one

Embed videos from YouTube, Dailymotion, or Vimeo, or host a video file on your website. Enable featured videos for the content types you use in the plugin options. Videos can appear on WooCommerce product pages and shop archives, including supported product galleries.

Video Studio makes a featured video from a template in your browser, using details from a post or product such as its title, price, photos, and category. Preview the result, then save it as the entry's featured video in your Media Library with a poster image. Video Studio creation requires Chrome, Edge, or Firefox on a secure HTTPS connection. Safari can preview templates but cannot create the video.

Place videos in your layout

The Featured Video block can display the video for the post, page, or product containing it, or for another entry you select. Add the block to a post, template, or Query Loop in the block editor or Site Editor. Its settings include controls, autoplay, loop, mute, picture in picture, and download. Autoplay on hover follows the global setting and can be adjusted for each block. If an entry has no video, the block can show its featured image or nothing.

For shortcode placements, [rsfv] shows the current entry's featured video. [rsfv_by_postid post_id="281"] displays the video for the selected post ID. Both accept player options for controls, autoplay, loop, mute, picture in picture, download, and hover behavior.

A dedicated Elementor Featured Video widget lets you embed and tailor videos in a design. Integrations also cover Elementor Pro Posts/Archive and WooCommerce Product widgets, Bricks Posts/Archive elements, and the Salient WPBakery Post Loop Builder element. WooCommerce support includes Astra Pro galleries with vertical or horizontal product layouts.

• Video Studio PRO: Adds more than 20 templates for shops, blogs, food, real estate, courses, events, local businesses, and portfolios. It also adds vertical and 4K sizes, music, a brand kit, Google Fonts, video creation for multiple entries, and larger uploads beyond the host's limit.
• Extended analytics: Adds longer history, watch time, completion data, and CSV export. View and play counts stay in your site's database.
• Hover autoplay: Customize how videos autoplay when users hover, including embedded and self-hosted videos.
• Sticky Video layouts: Add the story layout to the popup player, with tab bars for switching between videos. Sticky Video also works with display conditions, multiple videos, and customizable controls.
• Aspect ratios: Set a sitewide ratio such as 16:9, 4:3, 3:2, 1:1, 9:16, or a custom ratio.
• WooCommerce video order: Set the video order on single product pages.
• Theme compatibility: PRO loads compatibility for more supported premium and custom themes, and lets you request compatibility for additional themes.
• Priority support: Includes priority support for plugin-related problems.

Manage featured videos from each post, page, custom post type, or product editor, or use the central management area to work across supported content types. Global settings control video behavior, including autoplay and mute.
