Start with the cards your site needs
Every new website starts on the Free plan. It includes Recipe, How-to, and List cards, full schema support, manual nutrition, Recommended Products, the Amazon Creators API integration, built-in recipe importers, and five standard card themes. Reviews collected previously continue to display. After connecting a site to Create Studio, you can enter nutrition data manually on any plan.
Create includes keyboard shortcuts, a live preview in Gutenberg, and importers for WP Recipe Maker, Tasty, EasyRecipe, and other recipe add-ons. List cards can organize links, images, and products with drag-and-drop ordering.
Recipe tools and reader interaction
Free+ is a free, ad-supported plan. It includes automatic nutrition calculation, product and list-item scraping, new reader ratings and reviews, Interactive Mode, Adjustable Servings, and Unit Conversion. Readers can adjust ingredient quantities and switch between metric and imperial measurements.
On Free+, Interactive Mode is always on for Recipe and How-to cards. It opens in a new tab, where Create Studio shows ads; ads do not appear on your site's own pages through this feature. Paid plans are also available through Create Studio.
Guide tools and review controls
Pro Guides includes Free+ functions, Interactive Mode on your own site without Create ads, Interactive Checklists, and review management. Publishers can edit, respond to, and feature reviews, and place featured feedback with the Featured Review block. The plan also includes the Editorial and Modern Elegant themes, premium Recommended Products display options, and Custom CSS.
List publishing and bulk import
Pro Lists adds automatic nutrition, scraping, and new reviews to the Free plan, along with the Editorial, Leaderboard, and Ranked list layouts. Bulk List Import brings in list items from URLs. Items linked to your own Create cards can stay in sync with their source card's title and picture. Custom CSS is also included.
Pro Lists does not include Interactive Mode, Adjustable Servings, or Unit Conversion. Pro Pass includes every Pro Guides and Pro Lists feature and gives 50% off additional websites. Eligible sites can try paid features free for 14 days, with up to seven bonus trial days available by completing setup steps.
Connect Create and configure a plan
Install and activate Create in WordPress, then connect your site to Create Studio from Create > Settings. Choose Free or Free+, and use the guided setup wizards in Create > Settings to configure card appearance, recipe features, list cards, Jump to Card, and Featured Reviews. Upgrade through Create Studio for paid tools, then configure the options for the relevant card or list and preview the result before publishing.
Automatic nutrition calculation is powered by API Ninjas and is included with Free+ and every paid plan. When you calculate nutrition, raw ingredient text is relayed to API Ninjas through Create Studio. Create Studio also powers URL scraping, Interactive Mode, serving and unit-conversion widgets, plan and subscription management, and dashboard tips and broadcasts. Requests are made when you connect your site or use the relevant feature, and may include your site URL, connection token, plugin version, card data, ingredient text, scraped URLs, and account email.
