Upload and store custom fonts
Upload TTF, OTF, WOFF, or WOFF2 files up to 25 MB. The converter generates browser-compatible formats and compresses uploaded fonts to WOFF2 with Brotli. Smaller files are recommended because font size affects website loading time.
The plugin sends font files to the conversion service, which returns the converted files and deletes temporary font files when the upload is complete. The service retains API key details. Your site stores the resulting fonts in wp-content/uploads/useanyfont and serves them with @font-face CSS. The service is needed for conversion; your site serves the fonts afterward.
Manage variations and assign fonts
In the Font Upload tab, enable multiple font variations and choose the weight and style for each. Use the same custom font name across related variations.
- Assign fonts to predefined HTML tags or custom CSS selectors through the plugin interface.
- Use a class matching the font name in visual builders. Supported tools include WordPress Editor, Gutenberg, Divi, SiteOrigin, Elementor, Beaver Builder, Themify, Oxygen, Bricks, and WPBakery.
- Apply uploaded fonts through supported theme settings, including themes such as Avada, Flatsome, Salient, Astra, OceanWP, and GeneratePress.
- Assign fonts by language with WPML or Polylang.
The font display property controls loading behavior in generated @font-face rules.
