Connect checkout to NMI

Pledged Plugins PCI Gateway for NMI and WooCommerce connects a store to an NMI (Network Merchants) merchant account. Collect.js tokenization sends payment data directly to NMI. The add-on does not store customer credit card numbers or other sensitive card information on the site.

Requirements

You need an active NMI account, WooCommerce 3.3 or later, and a valid SSL certificate.

Install and configure the gateway

Install and activate the extension in WordPress. In WooCommerce settings, open the Payments tab, choose NMI, enable the payment method, and enter the private and public NMI API keys. Configure the available gateway options for your checkout.

Payment controls

Administrators can process full or partial refunds from the WordPress dashboard without looking up the order in the NMI account. The gateway can authorize a transaction first and capture it later. Stores can restrict card types; the gateway hides the relevant card icon and shows an error at checkout. Optional receipts can be sent from the NMI merchant account, and logging can be enabled to help troubleshoot issues.

Pro edition additions

Pro includes the free gateway features and includes selected shipping and payment details:

• Pass the shipping address to NMI through shipping fields.
• Store AVS and CVV responses in WooCommerce order notes.
• Display payment amounts in order notes.
• Pass a dynamic descriptor to NMI for display on a customer's card or bank statement.

Enterprise edition additions

Enterprise includes the free and Pro capabilities, with options for recurring orders and additional checkout methods:

• With the WooCommerce Subscriptions extension, process products with recurring payments.
• With the WooCommerce Pre-Orders extension, let customers order products before they are available. Their card details are submitted and the card is automatically charged when the pre-order becomes available.
• Optionally enable 3D Secure 2 card verification for Strong Customer Authentication.
• Accept eCheck payments through the ACH network.
• Let customers use saved card details held on gateway servers for quicker checkout.
• Use the gateway with FunnelKit One Click Upsells, formerly WooFunnels.
