CURCY Pro and CURCY Premium are paid editions of CURCY for WooCommerce. They include the free feature set, which supports two currencies, and let stores configure unlimited currencies. Customers can view prices in different currencies and switch their selection. Stores can also enable payment in different currencies.

Choose a currency by selection, country, or language

Customers can change currency using a currency bar, a price switcher, or a shortcode. CURCY can detect a customer’s country from their IP address and show the currency configured for that country. Choose WooCommerce geolocation or an external service; the external option uses IP2Location and requires an API key. Stores can also show the default price alongside an approximate price in the customer’s native currency.

Currency can follow the customer’s billing or shipping country when it changes. For multilingual stores, assign currencies to languages supported by WPML or Polylang.

Set exchange rates and product prices

Enter exchange rates manually or schedule automatic updates at intervals from 30 minutes to one month. Available rate sources include VillaTheme, Google Finance, and Yahoo Finance. CURCY can add a permanent exchange fee to rates and email the administrator when rates are updated.

• Set custom currency symbols, such as USD, US$, or $.
• Hide currencies from the storefront.
• Set fixed product prices in different currencies. A fixed price replaces the amount calculated from the exchange rate.
• Import fixed prices for currencies in bulk from a CSV file.

Control currency display and checkout

CURCY can save the selected currency in a session instead of a cookie, force a specific currency at checkout after a customer selects “Place order,” and show multiple currencies when product and checkout prices use different currencies. Price-format rules can adjust displayed amounts, such as changing $9.87 to $9.99. JavaScript currency switching can avoid adding the selected currency as a URL tag.

Assign payment methods to currencies; other methods are hidden at checkout. A country-follow setting can switch to the configured currency when a customer changes their billing or shipping country.

Configure the store

After installing and activating CURCY, set up currencies, rate updates, display settings, and customer detection. Add the currency bar, switcher, or shortcode where customers need it, then review product pages, the cart, and checkout to confirm that prices and payment methods follow the configured rules.

Conditional display rules accept allowlisted WordPress and WooCommerce is_*() tags. Use only supported tags supplied by trusted developers.
