WordPress plugin
Domain Mapping System Pro
Domain Mapping System Pro assigns domains to published resources managed in one WordPress installation. Map posts, pages, products, custom post types, archives, categories, and custom taxonomies. Visitors see the mapped domain while viewing its assigned content, which can organize destinations for different brands, locations, audiences, or campaigns.
Give each domain a focused section
Domain Mapping System Pro assigns domains to published resources managed in one WordPress installation. Map posts, pages, products, custom post types, archives, categories, and custom taxonomies. Visitors see the mapped domain while viewing its assigned content, which can organize destinations for different brands, locations, audiences, or campaigns.
Group content into microsites
Pro microsites group published resources around a domain and let you set a homepage and inner pages for each group. Global Domain Mapping can automatically map published content across the site. Global Parent Page Mapping and Global Archive Mapping extend that organization to related pages and archives.
Choose how domains and URLs work
- Map subdomains to the primary WordPress website, or map subdirectory URLs to content elsewhere on the site.
- Map archives, blog categories, and custom taxonomies.
- Optionally redirect visitors to a resource’s mapped version.
- Use global or selective URL rewriting and preserve query string parameters such as UTM values.
- Set a favicon and add custom code for each domain.
Manage SEO and store content
Yoast SEO integration includes custom titles, descriptions, keywords, and sitemaps for mapped domains.
The Pro feature list includes WooCommerce mapping settings for Shop, Checkout, and Cart pages. The compatibility notes describe WooCommerce support as partial and confirm mapping for products and product archives.
Check multisite and server requirements
WordPress Multisite is supported in both the free and Pro versions. Each network site can map its own domains when the network is configured correctly; multisite setup requires a custom sunrise.php file.
Domain mapping also requires server configuration. Point the primary and mapped domains’ DNS A records to the same server, then add each mapped domain as an alias whose root folder points to the WordPress installation. Install and activate the plugin, configure its settings, and assign domains to the relevant content. For HTTPS, configure SSL certificates for all domains or none; a secured site cannot serve content through an unsecured mapped domain.
