Download Plugin Pro adds controls to the WordPress dashboard for saving installed files and selected website data. Choose an item in its dashboard area and use the available download option. The format depends on the item: add-ons and themes download as ZIP files, while blog posts and visitor metadata can be exported as CSV.

Download files and content

On the Plugins page, download an installed plugin from the link below its name, or choose several plugins for a bulk download. Themes can also be downloaded as ZIP files from the dashboard. You can download an individual user's data or multiple users' metadata in CSV format, and export blog posts individually or in bulk as CSV files. Pages, comments, and attachments are also supported for download, individually or in groups where available.

For custom post types, download one post or select multiple posts. Examples include WooCommerce products, Easy Digital Downloads, Portfolio Post Types, Slider Revolution, bbPress, WP Job Manager, and JetPack.

Pro site downloads and uploads

Pro adds WordPress site downloads for backup, with or without database and media files. The downloaded site can then be uploaded or restored as required. The add-on administration area also supports uploading multiple WordPress plugins in one operation. Pro upload options cover pages, posts, users, and comments.

These controls can help when keeping a copy of installed extensions before removing them, or when preparing selected files and content for another WordPress site. Download plugins and themes as ZIPs, export supported content as CSV, and use the available upload option for the item you need to add.

Installation

Upload the plugin ZIP through the WordPress dashboard and activate it. After activation, download links appear below plugin names on the Plugins page. Use the relevant dashboard area to download themes, content, custom posts, comments, or site data according to the selected item and available Pro feature.
