Set deposit amounts and payment timing
Choose a fixed deposit or a percentage of the product price. Payment schedules can use intervals of days, weeks, months, or years, and one product can have multiple plans. Store options can let customers pick between paying in full and making a deposit, or require a deposit where purchasing rules call for one. Deposits can also be offered at checkout.
Apply rules to products and customers
Set deposit behavior store-wide, then configure rules for individual products, product categories, or visitor roles. Role-based controls can restrict who may use deposits.
Follow balances through the order
Customers can make the remaining balance payable through their account login. The Pro edition supports automatic processing of future installments through the Stripe payment gateway, and its analytics dashboard offers insights into deposit-related payment activity. WooCommerce deposit orders can account for fees, taxes, shipping, and coupons. Stock management can be based on the deposit.
Handle reminders and refunds
Payment reminders can be sent for upcoming or outstanding balances. Email notifications can go to the customer and administrator when deposits are created or payments are made. Store owners can refund deposits manually from the order, customize plugin text and labels, and use translation support to adapt the payment experience to the store's language.
Configure deposits in the store
Install and activate the plugin, then open the Deposits menu in the WordPress dashboard. Configure store-wide settings and payment plans first. Review individual products and categories next, and apply the relevant settings before making those products available for purchase.
