Use them to adjust layout, appearance, front page sections, header media, navigation, content areas, and footer presentation. Theme controls cover widths, colors, borders, branding, images, menus, titles, links, and footer components.

What can change on the front page and blog?

For a static front page, add sections, show featured images in the section blog, set the height of section parallax images, and add section anchor links to menus. Blog and search pages can be set to one column. Home and archive pages can display automatically created post excerpts, with a setting for their maximum word count.

You can add “Back to top” links and fix them to the browser window’s bottom right. Widget areas can appear below page titles.

How do the picture and video settings work?

Apply true parallax to featured images in front page sections, remove that effect, or apply true parallax to the cover image. Set the home page header image height, or use a featured image as the header image while showing the full-size header image. Other image settings can conceal the header image everywhere except the home page, hide site branding on other pages, and set and style a page background image.

For header video, you can hide the YouTube video until it loads, pause it when a user scrolls, and disable looping for an MP4 header video.

Which branding, menu, and content details can be adjusted?

Change the widths of the site, header, navigation, content, and footer. Set background colors, align branding, style the site title and description, and select colors for paragraphs, headings, links, menus, and footer elements. You can also adjust content spacing, featured image borders, page and archive titles, post metadata, tag and category links, post navigation, and footer branding.

Menu settings include removing the main menu scroll-down arrow, setting sticky menu width, removing the mobile menu label, changing menu padding, styling the menu background, and rotating submenu arrows. The [social-links] shortcode displays a social network menu in content.

What do the widget and typography options cover?

Add a widget sidebar to the header area or a widget area below page titles. You can hide the site title and description outside the home page. Another setting prevents the Libre Franklin Google font from loading, an option intended to increase page speed; the setting itself does not measure the resulting speed.
