Shared libraries for WordPress work

Assistant Pro adds cloud storage and libraries to Assistant for materials people need to organize, reuse, or move between WordPress sites. Assistant is a standalone add-on for common tasks from the WordPress front end, and Beaver Builder is not required.

Libraries can be accessed from anywhere and support work across multiple sites, including staging and production. They give teams a shared place to keep assets while preparing them for a particular installation.

What libraries can hold

Supported items include media, posts, pages, templates made with the Block Editor or a page builder, and WooCommerce products, coupons, and orders.

Editors and front-end utilities

Assistant works with the Block Editor and common WordPress page builders, including Gutenberg, Beaver Builder, Elementor, Divi, and Visual Composer.

From the front end, Assistant lets users access posts, pages, and archives; view recently edited posts; search WordPress; and find posts, pages, and custom post types. Its Media app accepts file uploads by drag and drop. Users can also monitor comments and theme or plugin updates, and add custom labels to posts or pages.

Staging and production workflows

Assistant Pro is designed to support collaboration and movement of work between staging and production environments. Teams can keep templates and other assets in cloud libraries as they prepare and transfer work across sites. The workflow is intended for agencies, designers, and website teams working on multiple WordPress installations.

Installation and access

1. Install Assistant on a WordPress site.
2. Use the standalone plugin from the WordPress front end; Beaver Builder is not required.
3. Connect the workflow to Assistant Pro for cloud storage, libraries, and moving templates and assets between sites.
4. Organize supported items in libraries and use them in your site workflow.

Assistant can be used with WordPress 5.0 or newer installations. Assistant Pro adds cloud organization and site-to-site asset workflows to its front-end productivity tools.
