AST PRO extends Advanced Shipment Tracking for WooCommerce with automation and fulfillment controls. The underlying add-on lets stores add tracking manually, import it in bulk from CSV, or receive it through a shipment tracking REST API. It includes more than 1,010 pre-configured carriers, Shipped and Partially Shipped order statuses, and a customizable tracking widget. Customers can find tracking links in order emails and the My Account area. The add-on also works with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS) and Cart and Checkout blocks.

Tracking data sources

Choose an input method based on where shipment details are created. AST PRO can automatically import tracking from supported shipping and fulfillment services, including ShipStation, WooCommerce Shipping, Ordoro, Royal Mail Click & Drop, Sendcloud, Pirate Ship, Stamps.com, and Printful. For recurring file transfers, schedule CSV imports through FTP or SFTP. Manual entry, bulk CSV import, and the REST API are also available through the underlying plugin.

Carrier, item, and payment details

Carrier detection identifies a shipping carrier from the tracking number format, reducing manual selection. When a carrier is not pre-configured, AST PRO lets you create a custom carrier with its own name, logo, and tracking URL.

Item-Level Tracking assigns tracking numbers to specific order line entries and quantities, which helps record split shipments or products fulfilled separately. PayPal Tracking Sync exports tracking information to PayPal, and Stripe Tracking Sync syncs it with Stripe transactions.

Fulfillment and customer updates

The Fulfillment Dashboard gives stores one view for managing shipments. Custom email templates let you tailor branded shipping notifications. The underlying plugin's tracking widget displays shipment details in customer order emails and the My Account area, while Shipped and Partially Shipped statuses identify fulfillment progress.

Setup and use

1. Install and activate Advanced Shipment Tracking for WooCommerce with AST PRO.
2. Configure carriers and connect the supported shipping utilities you use.
3. Add tracking manually, receive it through an integration, or schedule an import.
4. Use carrier detection and item-level assignment where they fit the shipment.
5. Sync tracking with PayPal or Stripe when needed.
6. Review shipments in the dashboard and send customized notifications.
