Complianz Privacy Suite Premium guides WordPress administrators through consent settings using answers about the site, its add-ons and services, and its target regions. The wizard and website scan inform suggested settings for the administrator to review and adjust before publishing. The add-on does not guarantee compliance; the website administrator remains responsible for configuration.

From scan findings to consent controls

Premium includes a full website scan and periodic scans for changes to cookies, plugins, and third-party services. Automatic detection can help determine whether the current setup and visitor regions call for a cookie banner.

• Block cookies and scripts from services such as Google Maps, Facebook, Instagram, AdSense, HubSpot, reCAPTCHA, Twitter, and ActiveCampaign.
• Block embedded videos and social iFrames, including YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion, Instagram, and Facebook content.
• Show video stills or service-specific placeholders when embedded content is blocked.
• Manage scripts, iFrames, and plugins by category or service in the Script Center, with dependency and placeholder settings.

Set consent by visitor region

Select target regions such as the EU, UK, United States, Australia, South Africa, Brazil, and Canada. Conditional settings can apply dedicated cookie banners by region, and Geo IP consent can choose a notice based on a visitor’s IP location when a banner is required. Banner layouts include Accept/Dismiss, consent by category or service, and Cookie Wall. The plugin’s documentation says cookie walls are not actively supported and are not considered GDPR compliant; a soft cookie wall can block website interaction while still allowing dismissal. A/B testing lets administrators compare banners and measure consent rates.

Keep consent records and connect services

The plugin records visitor consent and consent-management changes, with integration for Proof of Consent. It also respects browser Do Not Track settings and Global Privacy Controls. Google Consent Mode can be used with Google Tag Manager or Google Analytics, and analytics anonymization can anonymize personal data for integrated statistics tools when needed. The suite also supports the IAB Europe TCF v2.0 framework.

Prepare privacy documents

Document tools include cookie policies and region-specific privacy statements, processing agreements, disclaimers, data-leak reporting tools, and children’s privacy policies for supported regions. The suite also delivers data request forms and registration tools, plus Impressum and imprint settings. Terms and Conditions are available through an integration with a separate plugin.

Install and configure in WordPress

Install the plugin from the WordPress administration area, open the configuration wizard, and answer its questions about the site, users, services, and regional focus. Run the available scan, review the suggested settings, then configure banner choices, integrations, consent records, and documents as needed. Premium includes premium support and updates, including new languages, features, and regions. It has been tested with popular WordPress themes and page builders and includes native Gutenberg Blocks.
