Choose filters for each browsing area
Set different filters for different product archives so choices fit the current category or archive. For custom product layouts outside the default WooCommerce templates, use [wcapf_products] to show products on a custom page. Stores using compatible popular multi-vendor extensions can also let shoppers filter by store name or vendor.
Configure filter choices and behavior
The drag-and-drop builder lets administrators add filters, configure options, reorder them, and remove them. Pro options include custom price ranges, manually managed filter choices, sorting filters, filters for products per page, and custom URL keys for filters such as category or color. AJAX filtering can be disabled when a different browsing behavior is needed.
Present filter options as checkboxes, radio buttons, dropdowns, multiselect controls, labels, or color and picture swatches. Taxonomy filters can use list, inline, grid, or hierarchical layouts, with accordion support for hierarchies. The interface can show product counts, hover tooltips, filter search fields, and show more or show less controls. Active filters can appear above the product list; dynamic counts update with selections, and smart visibility can conceal or disable empty or irrelevant options.
WCAPF supports variable products and WooCommerce attribute lookup tables. Shoppers can also use AJAX pagination and sorting to continue browsing without a page reload.
Build and place filter forms
Create filters in the add-on administration interface, then display a form on shop and archive pages with the Product Filter Form widget. You can also place [wcapf_form] in a page, post, or theme template. Customize the filter appearance through extension settings, including CSS variables. The plugin includes hooks, filters, and template overrides for developer changes. It is designed for themes that follow standard WooCommerce guidelines; heavily customized product loops may need adjustments.
