From byline to saved profile
The guest author workflow can replace a post’s standard author name with one or more names or other text. Link a name to the contributor’s blog, add a description, and enter an email address for the Gravatar. Premium retains Gravatar and custom URL support while letting you save recurring guest authors for reuse. Profiles can include an uploaded picture, and you can create guest author archives.
Assign and maintain credits
Use guest authors on posts, pages, and supported custom posts. Bulk editing helps update guest authors across posts, coauthors support pieces credited to multiple contributors, and author filters help find related posts. Guest authors and their information can also be included in searches for custom posts and authors.
For a site moving from the free version, use the conversion process for its existing guest author setup. Then apply author boxes, archives, filters, or shortcodes as needed.
Display author information
Author list and grid shortcodes present contributors in grouped layouts. An author box gives contributor details a dedicated area, while Elementor author archives support archive layouts created with Elementor. Separate shortcodes output the author name, author link, or avatar for placement in specific parts of a layout.
Set up guest authors
Install the WordPress plugin and configure guest author details for your content. Create or reuse a guest author, add the available name, link, description, email, or image information, then assign the author to posts, pages, or supported custom posts. When a post credits multiple contributors, use the coauthor option. For a broader directory, select an author list or grid shortcode.
