Market data in WordPress

Cryptocurrency Widgets Pro displays cryptocurrency prices and market details on WordPress websites through widgets and shortcodes. Choose one market data source in the add-on settings: CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap, CoinCap or Coinpaprika. These sources cover the top 250 cryptocurrencies; Pro price widgets extend coin selection to the top 2,500.

For data from the selected source, the cache interval can be set to 5, 10 or 15 minutes. For supported coins listed on Binance, Pro can use the Binance API for real-time price updates. The add-on works with more than 30 fiat currencies, including USD, EUR, GBP, INR and JPY; add the Open Exchange Rates API in the settings for currency conversion.

Price displays and market details

Choose a display for the information and placement you need. Scrolling tickers can go in a header, footer or another website area, while coin lists, price labels and multi-currency tabs offer other ways to present prices. Tickers can show 24-hour percentage changes.

Advanced tables can show market capitalization, percentage changes, trading volume and circulating supply. Pro includes price blocks, accordion styles, price cards and slider layouts. Additional Pro widgets include a historical price chart, crypto calculator, Binance widget, CoinGecko widget and Crypto News Widget.

Setup and placement

After installing and activating the plugin, select a market data source in its settings. Then open Crypto Plugins > Crypto Widgets > Add New Widget, select a widget type and coins, and configure its display options. Publish the widget to get a shortcode, which you can add to a post, page or widget area.
