Choose an arrangement for your images
Tiles keeps spacing even across a grid, Square gives images uniform shapes, Masonry arranges them in cascading columns, and Justified forms rows with equal heights. The Pro Mosaic layout makes a collage, while the Carousel layout uses Swiper to present images in a carousel. You can also randomize image order on each page load or use a dynamic gallery source from ACF or SCF fields.
Set columns and image details
Choose from one to eight columns, with separate settings for mobile, tablet, and desktop. Spacing and alignment controls let you adjust how the gallery fits each screen. For individual images, you can set borders and rounded corners, toggle cropping, choose an aspect ratio or registered image size, apply a duotone filter, and choose a custom link destination.
Captions can sit below an image, cover it as a full overlay, or appear as a bar overlay. Set them to stay visible, show on hover, or conceal on hover, then adjust alignment. Gallery-wide controls also cover spacing, padding, margins, border width, color and radius, separate image corner radii, and caption text and background colors.
Configure lightbox browsing
Built-in GLightbox opens images in a responsive lightbox with zoom and fade animations, keyboard navigation, touch and swipe support, zoom with drag controls, and loop navigation. Galleryberg Pro adds thumbnail navigation. You can turn the lightbox off in the block settings if images should not open in it.
Pro also supports per-image comments in the lightbox, with an option to include image comments in the page HTML for search engines. The add-on uses server-side rendering and states that it is designed to load quickly, including with large images. Keyboard navigation supports accessibility. Galleryberg says it does not collect or store personal data; images, captions, and settings remain on your WordPress site.
