Live search for WooCommerce catalogs

FiboSearch Pro is the paid edition of FiboSearch. Its AJAX search bar shows suggestions as visitors type. The search engine uses an inverted index and is described as working very fast, including with catalogs of more than 100,000 products. Fuzzy search can return relevant results when a query contains minor typos. Pressing Enter takes visitors to the WooCommerce search results page, which can return the same results as the search bar.

Choose what shoppers can find

Search covers product titles, long and short descriptions, SKUs, attributes, categories, tags, and supported brands. Brand integrations include WooCommerce Brands, Perfect Brands for WooCommerce, Brands for WooCommerce, and YITH WooCommerce Brands. Category and brand thumbnails can appear in results.

FiboSearch Pro can search custom fields, with dedicated support for ACF. It also supports variation product SKUs; a variable product can appear in live results when a user enters its exact matching SKU. Search can include matching posts and pages, use synonyms for related terms, and conditionally exclude selected products.

Control the live suggestions

Suggestions can show product images, prices, descriptions, and SKUs. Results can be grouped by type, such as categories followed by products. A details panel can show extended product information and, when a visitor hovers over a suggestion, an add-to-cart button with a quantity field.

Search history can appear when a visitor focuses the search bar before entering a query. You can set the number of suggestions and the minimum query length, then personalize labels, colors, the preloader, images, and other autocomplete elements.

Add the search bar to a shop

Place the search bar in a theme with a shortcode, menu item, widget, or block. One-click replacement is available for dozens of popular themes. Pro users can get professional help embedding or replacing the search bar in a theme.

Fit the store's workflow

A special mobile search mode is designed for mobile use. FiboSearch supports Google Analytics and multilingual setups, including WPML, Polylang, qTranslate-XT, and TranslatePress. Configure the search scope, result limits, minimum character requirement, and appearance in the add-on settings.
