How ezCache Pro organizes performance settings
ezCache Pro brings caching, asset optimization, network controls, and maintenance tools into a WordPress add-on. Its settings let administrators pick which parts of a site's delivery and upkeep to address.
Page and Redis caching
Page caching serves cached HTML. Redis Object Cache stores database queries in RAM, while Redis Full-Page Cache serves pages from Redis. Cache Preloading warms the cache automatically so pages can be prepared before users request them.
CSS, JavaScript, and images
When a page needs its above-the-fold styling early, Critical CSS can inline those styles and defer the rest. CSS and JavaScript minification and combination optimize assets. WebP conversion changes images to WebP, and lazy loading defers offscreen images and iframes. HTML minification reduces page size.
Network settings
CDN Integration rewrites URLs for static assets. DNS Prefetch and Preconnect settings provide additional network controls. Speculative Loading lets Chrome prerender pages before a click, and 103 Early Hints lets browsers fetch CSS and JavaScript before the HTML arrives.
Maintenance and diagnostics
Database Cleanup can remove revisions, drafts, and transients. Heartbeat Control helps reduce server load. The Site Diagnostic Tool offers one-click performance analysis, Settings Backup and Restore supports exporting or importing configuration, and Development Mode temporarily disables the cache while changes are made.
Configuring ezCache Pro
Install and activate ezCache Pro in WordPress, then review the caching settings. Choose Redis, Critical CSS, asset optimization, WebP conversion, CDN rewriting, and cleanup settings to suit the website's setup. Use diagnostics to review the configuration and Development Mode when cache behavior needs to be temporarily disabled.
The directory notice says ezCache has not been tested with the latest three major WordPress releases and may no longer be maintained or supported. Compatibility with newer releases may be an issue.
