Set fees from order conditions

Extra Fees for WooCommerce Pro lets store owners add charges for services, handling requirements, customer choices, and other order conditions. Each rule determines when a fee appears. Manage multiple rules in the backend, set each fee as a fixed amount or percentage, and select taxable or non-taxable treatment.

Choose conditions for each rule

Product conditions can target simple or variable products, categories, and tags. Cart and order conditions include cart subtotal, total cart value, order amount, product quantity, cart quantity, cart row quantity, weight, shipping class, and coupons.

• Set quantity-specific fees for an individual product or the cart. Build tiered or advanced rules using quantity, subtotal, weight, or total cart conditions.
• Apply fees to clients or user roles, with rules based on purchase history or customer total spend.
• Target customers by country, state, postcode or ZIP code, or WooCommerce zone.
• Apply fees according to selected payment gateways or shipping methods.
• Schedule fees for specific time periods.

Control fee display and tax

Fees can appear on product detail, cart, and checkout pages. Optional fees can be shown on the cart page, and consolidated fee display options help manage how charges are presented. Custom tax classes give you more control over fee tax treatment.

Use these settings for gift wrapping, expedited processing, handling large or heavy orders, or different charges for particular customer groups. You can make multiple fees for one product and manage several fees across a store.

Review AI fee recommendations

The Pro feature set includes AI-powered smart fee recommendations based on store data, orders, products, and purchasing patterns. Recommendations can include suggested amounts and conditions, confidence scores, and estimated additional revenue potential. Turn a recommendation into a pre-configured draft fee rule for review and activation.

Configure and install

Create or remove fees in the backend, choose rule conditions, choose fixed or percentage pricing, and configure tax and display settings. Import and export features support configuration management. Review each rule before activating it so its behavior matches your products, customers, and checkout process.
