Set up Contact Form 7 and add the tools you need

Install Contact Form 7 first, then add Extensions For CF7 Pro and configure the extensions you need. Create or edit a form, add its fields and capabilities, and set settings for submission storage, conditional display, redirects, Mailchimp, consent, uploads, and styling. Test the form before publishing to check which fields appear, what happens after submission, and whether data is stored as expected.

When answers affect which fields appear

Conditional fields show or conceal according to visitor input, so an earlier selection can determine which questions appear next. For a successful submission, redirection can send users to a selected page.

Where submissions go

The Contact Form 7 Database feature saves submissions in the database for administrators to manage through the WordPress dashboard. You can also export submission data as a CSV file. Mailchimp integration connects Contact Form 7 with Mailchimp so submissions can be used to generate leads. In the admin menu, an unread emails count badge can indicate pending messages, and the email list marks messages as read or unread.

Choose fields for the information being collected

A column field works with multiple-column layouts, while range slider and signature fields collect other kinds of input.
