From member details to team display

Smart Team Pro is a WordPress add-on for creating team and staff showcases. Add unlimited teams and members through the admin interface without coding. Profiles can include a name, position or job title, photo, short biography, and social links such as Facebook or Twitter. You can display, hide, and personalize each available field. The same picture-and-text format can present agency collaborators, educators, medical professionals, volunteers, board members, event speakers, mentors, and community members.

Choose how visitors view the team

Member profiles supply the content; the selected layout determines how that content appears. Choose a carousel for a horizontally browsable presentation, a grid to arrange members in columns, or a list for a directory. The Pro edition adds extra layouts, styling controls, and customization settings. Responsive settings let you control columns across devices. You can also set the number of members shown, select ordering and order-by options, display members in random order, and adjust the space between them. Multiple team shortcodes can appear on one page.

Set member styles and details

Display settings control member borders, corner radius, and background color. Image options include size, border, background color, and a zoom in or out effect. Adjust social icon position, margin, and shape. Detail page links can be enabled or disabled, and you can choose which fields appear on those pages. Carousel settings include 15 slider options. The extension also provides color and styling controls, custom CSS options, translation and RTL support, and multisite support. It is compatible with any theme.

Create and publish a team configuration

Install and activate the plugin in WordPress, then add members from the Smart Team dashboard. After adding profiles, create a team configuration in the generator and set its layout, fields, styling, ordering, and display options. Publish the configuration to get a shortcode. Add that shortcode to a page or post, or publish the display through the widget control panel or a PHP function.
