WooCommerce Local Pickup lets customers select collection at checkout. ALP PRO includes controls for stores that need to manage pickup across multiple locations, products, and order types. Staff prepare orders, mark them Ready for Pickup, and confirm collection by marking them Picked Up.

Pickup availability by location and product

Add unlimited pickup locations, each with its own address, opening hours, instructions, and contact details. Set business hours by day of the week and add holiday blackout dates. Per-location inventory controls let you offer pickup where an item is in stock. You can also restrict products or categories to selected locations, set location-specific pickup fees or discounts, and display pickup availability before checkout. For selected products or categories, local pickup can be the only shipping method.

Customers can choose a pickup point from an interactive map with a pin for each location. The selector supports Google's “Use My Location” option, and Google Maps can sort locations by distance from the customer's address.

Mixed orders and pickup changes

In one order, some entries can be collected in store while others are shipped. Different items can also be assigned to various pickup locations, with an appointment for each. After ordering, customers can change their pickup location or appointment time through a secure link.

Appointments, curbside arrival, and handoff

Customers can book a pickup date and time at checkout. Configure appointment slots of 15, 30, or 60 minutes for each location. The Today's Pickup Board shows the pickups scheduled for the current day.

Enable curbside pickup at the locations that offer it. Customers can select curbside at checkout and enter their vehicle make, colour, and licence plate. When they arrive, they tap “I've Arrived” to notify staff.

Each pickup order generates a unique QR code in the customer's order confirmation. Staff can scan it with the mobile admin scanner to confirm the handoff. The audit trail records the timestamp, staff member, and location.

Fulfillment and customer notifications

Use the fulfillment dashboard to manage pickup orders. Status notifications can be sent automatically by email and SMS at each step. Ready for Pickup emails can come from the location handling the order and include that location's details. Custom email templates let you adjust pickup email styling and layout.

WooCommerce compatibility and setup

ALP PRO supports WooCommerce Block Checkout and is compatible with High-Performance Order Storage. Listed compatibility settings include Kadence WooMail, YayMail, WP HTML Mail, SMS for WooCommerce, and WPML.

Install and activate ALP PRO alongside your WooCommerce setup. Configure local pickup, then add each location's address, hours, instructions, and contact details. Enable the options your store uses, such as appointments, curbside collection, QR handoff, and location-specific inventory. Review email and SMS settings, tailor templates as needed, then test checkout, order preparation, notifications, and collection before offering pickup to customers.
