Manage WordPress notifications

FooBar Pro lets you create and manage unlimited notifications from one WordPress administration area. Use bars near the top or bottom of the visitor experience to welcome users, announce a sale or product launch, share a policy update, or present a focused message and action.

Choose a message type

Announcement bars display a message with an optional link. Call To Action bars pair a message with button text and a destination URL. Cookie Notice bars can display cookie information with an accept button, supporting communication related to EU GDPR cookie law and CCPA regulations.

Pro adds four notification types to these formats:

• Sign Up: Capture email addresses and add them to a Mailchimp list.
• Countdown: Display a countdown and call-to-action button for a time-sensitive promotion.
• Tweet: Present a message with a click-to-Tweet button.
• Free Shipping: Show shoppers a free-shipping message that integrates with your WooCommerce shop settings.

Set the appearance and placement

Match a bar to your website or campaign with gradient backgrounds, font-size controls, icon choices, emoji support, and a custom CSS setting. Choose left or right placement; up to 12 positions are supported. Effects can draw attention to a bar, encourage visitors to open it, or interact with its buttons.

Open and close triggers can respond to exit intent, time delays, scroll distance, and other configured conditions.

Schedule when and where bars appear

Set start and end dates and times to choose when a notification runs. Visibility conditions let you display it for a specific post type, selected pages, or certain categories. These settings help limit a message to the content or promotion it applies to.

Preview and reuse notifications

Preview a notification in the WordPress administration area or on the frontend before publishing. You can also duplicate a notification from the admin listing page to create another bar with similar settings.

Create a notification

Install and activate FooBar Pro through the WordPress administration area. Create a notification, choose its type, and add the message, link, button, or notice details. Configure its appearance, position, triggers, schedule, and visibility conditions, then preview it before publishing. Add custom CSS through the available setting if you want to adjust its presentation.
