WordPress plugin
RevivePress Premium for WordPress Republishing
RevivePress Premium republishes selected WordPress posts and pages by resetting their published date to the current date. This can bring them back to the front page, the top of archive pages, and RSS feeds, where readers can discover older evergreen content. Republishing does not duplicate content by default; duplication can be configured in the add-on settings.
How republication changes an existing post
RevivePress Premium republishes selected WordPress posts and pages by resetting their published date to the current date. This can bring them back to the front page, the top of archive pages, and RSS feeds, where readers can discover older evergreen content. Republishing does not duplicate content by default; duplication can be configured in the add-on settings.
Changing the published date can make a post appear fresh in date-based searches and sharing processes. It does not by itself update the post's content.
Choose content and set schedules
Republish individual posts once or on a repeating schedule. Premium delivers date and time scheduling, custom intervals, minimum intervals, randomness intervals, and custom date ranges. You can set a custom title for each republication event, and manage custom post types and taxonomies.
Control how republished posts appear
Set a post's status after republication or after its final republication. WordPress Sticky Posts support gives you another way to manage placement. You can show the original publication date before or after a post, or conceal the last original publication information from the frontend.
For each republication, the post name or URL can also be changed. The plugin includes a one-click action to republish and share a post on social media.
Share events and review their history
RevivePress Premium can automatically share republished content, send email notifications when republication occurs, and use OneSignal push notifications. Logs show republication history. A dashboard widget lists upcoming single republications, and an admin column shows republication information.
Coordinate indexing, cache, and translations
The plugin supports indexing API plugins, including the Rank Math Indexing API. It can automatically purge the site cache or an individual post's cache after republication. Cache support covers most add-ons and hosting platforms, including W3 Total Cache, WP Super Cache, WP Rocket, WP Fastest Cache, LiteSpeed Cache, Autoptimize, Breeze, and WP Engine.
Full WPML and Polylang compatibility supports multilingual publishing workflows.
Install and configure
In WordPress, open Plugins > Add New, search for RevivePress, then install and activate it. Open Settings > RevivePress to configure republishing and pick the posts or content types to manage. Set the schedule, title, sharing, notification, cache, and post status options you need. Use the logs and dashboard widget to review completed and upcoming republication events.
