Build Vimeo galleries on WordPress

Vimeography Pro extends Vimeography, a WordPress add-on for presenting Vimeo videos in custom galleries. Build a collection from videos uploaded to a Vimeo user account, channel, or showcase, then insert the gallery into a page, post, or template with one click. Membership websites, course websites, portfolios, and other projects can use these collections to present video on WordPress.

Find and organize videos

Visitors can search within a gallery and follow shareable links to particular videos. Galleries can display unlimited videos, with custom sorting to set their order. Playlists can play through videos automatically. Download links can be enabled when downloads fit the intended user experience. Vimeo interaction tools support capabilities such as end screens, cards, and email capture.

Gallery layout and playback

A featured video can appear first in the gallery. Custom themes shape its presentation, and the appearance editor lets you adjust the selected theme. Set the gallery width in pixels or percentages to fit the page layout. Built-in caching is included to support quick page loads.

Hidden videos require a public showcase

To display videos hidden from Vimeo, mark them as hidden and place them in a public showcase. Use that showcase URL as the gallery source. In this setup, the videos do not appear elsewhere on Vimeo, while remaining accessible through the Vimeography WordPress plugin.

Set up a gallery

Install Vimeography Pro on the WordPress website where the gallery will appear. Prepare the relevant Vimeo user account, channel, or showcase and use that source when configuring the gallery. Assign a theme, adjust its appearance, set the width, and insert the gallery into a page, post, or template. Select a featured video and configure search, sorting, playlists, shareable links, downloads, or hidden video display as needed for the collection.
