Choose a format for the page
Formats include content, slick, thumbnail carousel, content popup, simple video, vertical thumbnails, horizontal posts, rich, timeline, amazing simple, and services sliders. Different slider types can be used on different pages. Choose a full-width, full-screen, or boxed layout, then set the width and height with fixed or responsive dimensions.
Playback and navigation
Set the number of slides, select a starting slide, and enable or disable automatic slideshow start. You can set the pause time and slide-change speed, and show or hide navigation arrows, bullets, and previous or next buttons. Touch navigation is available on mobile browsers, with keyboard navigation also supported.
The plugin lists 30 transition effects, including fade, cross-fade, slide, slice, blinds, 3D, horizontal, vertical, blocks, and shuffle. Custom slide transitions are also supported. Effects use hardware-accelerated CSS3 transitions with a jQuery fallback.
Slide content and styling
Slides can include titles, descriptions, buttons, and links. Text, image, HTML, and video layers can have animations. Settings control whether titles and descriptions appear, their text styling, and the look of navigation buttons and bullets. You can also configure overlay color, backgrounds, borders, edges, and shadows, or use a built-in theme. Background settings include a global color or video.
Adding and managing a slider
Create a slider in WordPress, select videos, configure its layout and controls, and arrange the clips. Add the result to a post or page with a shortcode, or use the widget option in the widgets admin panel. Deep links can target a specified slide, and layer links can switch the slider to a specific slideshow. External methods are available to update, reset, or remove a slider after creation.
