Custom Redirects for WooCommerce Premium lets administrators and shop managers set where customers go after adding a product to the cart or completing checkout. An add-to-cart redirect can send a customer to checkout to skip the cart, or to another product or page. After-purchase redirects set a separate destination after checkout.

Set destinations for products and catalog terms

For a product-specific add-to-cart destination, enter a URL in the Add-to-Cart Redirect URL field under the Redirect product data tab, save the product and test the customer-facing behavior. Premium also supports redirects for product variations, product categories and tags. Different variations can use their own redirect options, while category and tag rules apply to products grouped under those terms.

Choose how redirects open

The setup instructions say to uncheck Enable AJAX add to cart buttons on archives in the WooCommerce settings under Products for redirects from product archive pages. Premium also supports redirects with AJAX add-to-cart actions and can open destinations in a new browser tab.

Manage and transfer redirect options

An administration page delivers an overview of configured redirects. CSV import and export support lets redirect information move with product data processes, which can help when managing settings across a larger catalog.
