Maintenance Page Pro extends Maintenance Page for WordPress sites that are temporarily unavailable, undergoing an upgrade, or in development. The base add-on shows a responsive maintenance or coming-soon page in place of the site’s regular content while work continues.

Build the visitor page

Set a logo, background picture or color, social icons, font color, title, and message. The subscriber field collects email addresses, and the subscriber list can be downloaded as a CSV file. The base options also include custom CSS and page exclusions.

Options for updates and users

A counter appears on the page, and the progress bar shows information about ongoing work. Visitors can send a message through the contact form. The subscriber feature can connect with MailChimp. The IP Whitelist enables specified IP addresses, and role-based access manages access by visitor role.

Page design and extra information

For the background, use a slider with multiple images or a video. Pro settings also include a Google font option and font size control. Add analytic code to the maintenance page or provide more information on an About Page.

Activate and check

Install and activate Maintenance Page, then open Settings → Maintenance Page → General and check Activate the Maintenance Page. Configure the branding, background, message, social icons, subscriber field, and any Pro options needed for the project.

If the page does not change, check it in another browser while logged out. When a caching add-on is active, purge its cache or temporarily deactivate caching while testing activation and design changes.

The plugin listing reports that Maintenance Page has not been tested with the latest three major WordPress releases. It may have compatibility issues and may no longer be maintained or supported.
